  • 一、The machine can’t return to point zero?
  • Explanation:1、Release Emergency Stop.
    2、Press Start.
    3、Voltage low or power cut.
    4、Check the photoelectric switch to see if something is blocking it. Clear the irrelevant object on the machine and turn on power again.
    5、Check for the alarm of motor and server and check if the power wire and encoder wire are well connected.
    6、Check the point zero switch to see if it´s working. Check the wire of the point zero switch to see if it´s broken or poor contact.
  • 二、Can open the software?
  • Explanation:1、Check if the software is properly installed. Reinstall the software to solve the problem.
    2、Check if the dongle is inserted in the computer and if the light of the dongle is on.
    3、The dongle need to be upgraded. Contact our technical service department.
    4、Motion card is not connected. Check if 5V power is connected to network cable and IPC.
  • 三、The incision of leather is hairy?
  • Explanation:1、The knife didn´t go deep enough, lower the cutting point in settings.
    2、The knife is broken. Change it to a new one.
    3、The knife is not sharp enough. Change it to a new one.
    4、The surface of machine is not smooth. Adjust it.
    5、The cutting mat is worn or the scraps are jamming the holes of vacuum system. Replace the cutting mat or clear the holes.
  • 四、The punching is not through or the pen mark is too light?
  • Explanation:1、Check the barometer, the normal pressure should be 0.4-0.5MPA.
    2、Adjust the position of the tools by regulating the screw nuts. Always lock when it´s done.
    3、The punchers need to be replaced.
    4、Adjust the pressure of the pen or replace with a new refill.
  • 五、The knife drags the leather when cutting?
  • Explanation:1、Check the air pumps for abnormal sound and check trip switch.
    2、The air tubes are loose. Tighten the tubes then check every grid of vacuum to make sure each one have strong suction.
    3、No pressure or low pressure. Turn on the air source and make sure the pressure is no less than 0.4MPA.
    4、The knife need to be replaced.
    5、Too much empty space on the table surface makes the suction weak. Cover the empty space with a plastic film or shut down the vacuum of the grids on which the empty space locates.
  • 六、The projection doesn´t match the real cut?
  • Explanation:1、The projector holder is inclined. Adjust the location of the projector holder or the projection itself.
    2、Adjust the parameters of projection.
    3、Something affects the trapezoid correction, recover it. Normally it should be 0.
  • 七、The cutting lines are not smooth and not straight?
  • Explanation:1、The synchronous wheel and the belt of rotation motor are worn because the belt is too loose or too tight. They need to be replaced.
    2、There’s space between the cutter and it’s holder. Have to send the whole part back to EMMA for adjustment.
    3、There’s space between the joint slack and X axis o Y axis o both. Screw the joint slack.
  • 八、Can’t turn on the projector or the screen show “no signal” or the projection is blurred?
  • Explanation:1、Make sure the power supply is on.
    2、Didn´t aim the signal receiver with the remote control.
    3、Make sure the cables are well connected. Left zone as no.2, right zone as no. 3.
    4、The bulb of projector is worn. Replace it and clean the lens.
    5、If the red light of projector is on, it means that the bulb is worn or too hot. Replace the bulb or turn off the projector and wait for it to cool down before turn it on again.
  • 九、A square comes out as parallelogram?
  • Explanation:The X axis is not perpendicular to the Y axis. Adjust the angle and diagonal.

    【Routine maintenance of cutting machine】

  • 一、Hardware
  • 1、Clean the dust and other scraps on the machine surface.
    2、Dust the fan of electric control box and check the function of each component.
    3、Clean the dust on the projectors.
    4、Clean the punchers and the scrap collector.
    5、Check the pressure and movement of pen and punchers.
    6、Check the presure, 0.4-0.5Mpa is normal.
    7、Check the knife to see if it´s sharp enough, normally it should be replaced after 30-70 hours of use.
    8、Check all the wires specially those connected to movable components and those covered in textiles, to see if there’s any damage or abrasion.
    9、Check the gas, cylinders and connectors for leakage.
    10、Check the air pumps, tubes, pipeline system and valves. Clean the gateway of air pump to clear the way.
    11、Check for abnormal sound when the machine is running.
    12、When the computer system is still on, turning off the power is strictly forbidden.
    13、Clear the liquid of the air tank 2-3 times per day to avoid bad influence to the electromagnetic valve.
    14、Every 3 to 5 days inject some lubricant to the cutter and check for abnormal sound.
    15、Every 7 to 15 days screw all the major parts.
    16、Every 2 months check the slideways for damage and corrosion. Clean the slideways and lubricate with special grease.
    17、Every 3 months check the table surface of machine and change the cutting mat if necessary.
    18、Every 3 months check the bearings for abnormal sound. Clean and lubricante.
    19、Every 6 months compare the number of diagonal corners of axis X and axis Y, make sure they´re the same.
    20、Every 3 to 6 months clean and lubricate the slider of axis X and axis Y with 000# lithium grease.
  • 二、Software
  • 1、See if the computer can start properly.
    2、Use antivirus.
    3、Back up the parameters before installing the software.
    4、Check the functions, parameter and settings of the software.
    5、Before starting the work, check the puncher, pen and knife for exactness with a stand file. Also should make sure these tools are exactly perpendicular.
    6、The material, cutting parameters and settings should correspond the file, the knife and the puncher.
